1 Day | Trail of The Coeur d'Alenes: This fully-guided bike tour takes you along the beautiful Coeur d'Alene River. Along your ride, you will learn about the Native American history, adventurous pioneers, hard working miners, fur trappers, Jesuit missionaries, and much more. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is considered one of the finest “rails-to-trails” projects in the United States, and has been selected to the rails-to-trails Hall of Fame. With 73 miles of newly paved trail, once part of the Union Pacific Railroad, this is an easy ride trail taking you through nature and history. On this bike tour, it is not uncommon to spot deer, osprey, waterfowl, moose and songbirds as the trail passes through forests, marshes and along lakeshore and river. ROW Adventures offers rides on several sections of the trail. Transport to/from Coeur d’Alene is included.
