We offer and support guided or self-guided tours. We create memorable, safe, and well-planned tours. SBT provides a cycling experience in a pristine natural environment that is safe and hassle free as possible. SBT’s chosen routes are primarily Rails to Trails that have little or no grade and are separate from motorized traffic.

Meet Founder, Lore n Dudley
Biking has always been a freeing experience for Loren. The
image of a boy flying before the moon with E.T. reflects
Loren’s feeling about biking. Riding single track around Boulder Creek and the north bank of the stadium at the
University of Colorado and its campus created the thrill of exploration and discovery that he has never lost. Loren has commuted by bicycle for a year in Niigata, Japan and five
months around the ocean side of Diamond Head in Hawaii.
Loren will go out of his way to use a bike for travel.
Chris, his wife, and Loren each have suitcase sized
recumbents from Bike Friday that they have used for rides
in Boulder, Denver, Vermont, Quebec, Ontario, Portland,
Eugene, Houston, Austin, Long Beach, Seattle, Boise,
Sun Valley, Seattle, Manhattan, southern England,
Germany, Amsterdam, champagne country in France and
across the state of Kansas.
All in all, Loren’s favorite rides are the Rail to Trails in the
Inland Northwest consisting of eastern Washington State,
North Idaho and Western Montana. The choice of Silver for
a corporate name was initially taken from the Silver Valley
in northern Idaho. Coincidentally the scenery and historical
trails that are included in the tour offerings is very user
friendly and well suited to the Prime Time cyclist.
